Pennington Productions is an Internet based company dedicated to producing high quality media at fair costs. In a world where the Internet media-scape is becoming the most powerful means of communication, we believe that media can be manufactured on ambition, creativity, and drive, rather than financial means.  As part of our packaging, original music will be composed for each and every project.  

Ranging in everything from promotional videos, to shorts, to features, to music, and even to writing/blogging, Pennington Productions displays a wide array of skills to produce videos perfect for companies, small businesses, individual artists, websites, athletes, and so much more.

Myles David Jewell (Co-founder- Video Director): Named after his first dog, Mr. Pennington, Myles believes that the simplicity of the penny was a good place to find inspiration to produce engaging films.  He recently earned his Master of Art’s in Cinema Studies (Film Theory, History, and Criticism) with a certificate in the Program of Culture and Media in documentary and ethnographic filmmaking from New York University.

Jay McKay (Co-Founder- Music Director): Jay is a cinematic composer working in New York City. He has scored a number of films for Smooth Feather Productions, including Lusaka Sunrise (2006), which was featured #1 on YouTube, received a spotlight on Fox Sports, and screened at the Margaret Meade Film Festival in New York City. He scored the Pennington Productions film Pursuit of Self (2007), which screened in Brooklyn, NY as part of The New Vision Cinema Series. He also scored the film Release (2008) directed by C. Josephine Hagerty, a Short Film Corner Selection at the 2008 Cannes International Film Festival. Jay is currently at work recording an album of original electro-acoustic compositions, in addition to working for the New York Philharmonic in media and technology.
