]]> http://www.penningtonproductions.com/tangents-and-the-times/feed/ 0 Pennington Productions Presents: “The Miracle Ear” (produced for the Boston 48hr Film Project 2011) http://www.penningtonproductions.com/pennington-productions-presents-the-miracle-ear-produced-for-the-boston-48hr-film-project-2011/ http://www.penningtonproductions.com/pennington-productions-presents-the-miracle-ear-produced-for-the-boston-48hr-film-project-2011/#comments Fri, 13 May 2011 20:36:58 +0000 Myles http://www.writing.penningtonproductions.com/?p=759 My mom and I entered  Boston’s 48hr Film Project 2011, where we produced a short video 4-7 minutes long in 48 hours.  Nice way to spend mother’s day, but all in all, ’twas a good experience.  The process was, you pay somebody some money to enter, and then they give you an assigned genre (we got Film de Femme, meaning a strong female lead).  Each team gets a different genre and then all the teams get an assigned line of dialogue (this year it was, “I didn’t see that coming.”), a prop (a chess piece), and a character (Aunt Henrietta or Uncle Hank).  And the result of which is our video below.  We were a two-person team, which is on the lighter side for numbers, and difficult to execute from a technical aspect, but vamos….
